Last weekend we went on a hunt...for our Christmas tree. It began on this platform in 30 degree weather where we loaded a horse drawn hayride and were "let out" in the wild to find, chop down, and drag back the perfect tree.

We found it!!!! A blue spruce...which actually once home was A LOT more prickly than first thought.

I love your Christmas tree! I have always wanted to go out into the wilderness and chop down a tree. I guess for now I can just live vicariously through your adventure since we still have an artificial one.
